5. Can I make a song or remix with your music?

NO! Our music is meant to be used as background music for your monetized user generated content on social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, and Facebook. It is forbidden to make a song, a remix and/or to use our music for music production. If we find someone who uses our music for remixes or as his own songs, then we will file a copyright claim and take legal actions against them.

6. I got a copyright claim on my video, what do I do?

First you need to figure out the reason why you got a copyright claim on your video. Make sure you have credited Tama’s Little Music Shop correctly – Check paragraph 2 how to correctly credit Tama’s Little Music Shop. If you have credited us correctly, then it could be a fake copyright claim. If the copyrighted content does not match with the name of the music track you used in your video, then it is most likely a fake copyright claim.

If you received a fake copyright claim, you can dispute the claim and use the following text:

This is a fake copyright claim. I have permission to use this song from the owner – Tama’s Little Music Shop. A license to use this music was acquired from www.tamamusic.com
Someone stole Tama’s Little Music Shop’s music or used a royalty free sample and distributed it through your music distribution service in order to make money by copyright claiming other people’s videos…

The actual music used in this video is “(Track Name)” by “(Artist)”.
Track source: (Link to the YouTube video)
Copyright holder: Tama’s Little Music Shop
You can get in contact with the original artist here: contact@tamamusic.com

Please also remove the claimant’s sound recording from your Content ID database. The claimant’s sound recording uses royalty free background music, therefore it should not be subject to Content ID Matching and YouTube Copyright claims.

Please remove this claim immediately or else I will take legal actions.

This should result in the copyright claim being removed within 1 – 14 days, however in some cases the process can take longer.

7. What is the difference between copyright free music, royalty free music, and no copyright music?

Copyright free music, royalty free music, and no copyright music are basically just three different words/terms for the same thing. However, these 3 terms are all quite misleading, because all the copyright free music, royalty free music, and no copyright music is actually copyrighted, but the artists give people permission to use the music for free in their user generated content on social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Therefore the most correct word/term for this kind of music is actually free to use music.

8. Who legally owns the music on Tama’s Little Music Shop channel?

All songs on our channel are produced by us, using royalty-free sounds and original compositions, that means we are one of the few who can offer you 100% Safe No Copyright music as we don’t re-upload music from random artists who can’t prove that the music really came from them. If you get a copyright claim we can ALWAYS proof that it’s wrong and we will help you personally to remove the claim if the pre-written text at 6. doesn’t resolve it.

9. Can I upload your music on my own music channel?

You are allowed to use our music in mixes or compilations (If you are a music channel) and as background music for your videos (content creators) but you are NOT allowed to promote them as “no copyright music” on your own channel. If we find other no copyright channels who are using our music to promote their own channel then we will file a copyright claim against them. This will result in the YT-channel getting a copyright strike, and if a channel gets 3 of these copyright strikes, then YouTube will take down the YouTube-channel… And ultimately you could be sued for doing this!
